Dental Implants
Dental implants could be a lasting solution to let you get on with life without settling for less.
If your smile is missing something and you’re seeking an alternative to tooth gaps, dentures or bridges, dental implants may be the solution. Dental implants help replace missing or damaged teeth, to beautifully restore beauty and function.
What Are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are long-term solutions to missing or heavily damaged teeth. Small titanium implants are securely placed into the jawbone, acting as artificial roots for the replacement teeth. Over time, the bone naturally fuses to the implant, creating an incredibly strong foundation for a crown, bridge, or denture. The result is a restoration that looks, feels, and functions just like a natural tooth.
Why Choose Dental Implants?
Strength and Longevity: Implants are designed to last for decades with proper care.
Natural Aesthetics: Each restoration is individually crafted to match your natural teeth.
Improved Function: Regain the ability to chew, speak, and smile with confidence.
Preserve Jawbone Health: Implants stimulate and maintain jaw bone structure.
Our Approach to Dental Implants
We approach every case with precision and artistry, combining the latest cutting-edge technology with the core philosophy of personalised craftsmanship — where everyone is treated with special care and attention.
From the initial consultation to the final restoration, we are committed to providing a seamless and comfortable experience.
Step 1
Comprehensive Consultation
A detailed examination using X-rays and 3D digital imaging will allow us to create a personalised treatment plan.
Step 2
Implant Placement and Healing
This procedure will aim to place the dental implant (titanium post) into the jawbone. Over the following months the implant will heal and integrate with your jawbone, to form a stable foundation for the future tooth replacement. During this time, we have options to provide a temporary restoration to maintain your smile.
Step 3
Restoration
Once sufficiently healed crowns, bridges, implant-supported bridges or dentures are crafted to restore your smile.
Step 4
Maintenance and ongoing Care
Caring for your dental implants is the key to keeping your smile strong, beautiful and long-lasting.
Is a Dental Implant Right for You?
Dental implants are a fantastic option for most adults who have lost a tooth or teeth, whether due to injury, decay, or disease. Ideal candidates should have healthy gums and enough bone to support the implant. Even if bone loss has occurred, advanced grafting techniques can often make implants possible.
Our team will work closely with you to determine the best solution tailored to your unique needs.

Full-Arch Dental Implants
Rebuilding Smiles with Strength, Beauty, and Confidence
At Kin Dental, we believe that losing all your teeth doesn’t mean losing your smile — or the ability to live fully and confidently.
With full-arch dental implants, we can rebuild your entire smile using a safe, long-lasting solution that looks, feels, and functions just like natural teeth.
Whether you’ve been living with dentures or are facing the loss of multiple teeth, full-arch implant solutions can restore your quality of life — without compromise.
What Are Full-Arch Implants?
Full-arch dental implants (sometimes called All-on-4™ , All-on-6, or implant-supported bridges) involve placing a small number of strategically positioned implants into the jawbone to support a full set of new teeth.
Unlike traditional dentures, full-arch implant restorations are fixed in place, meaning no slipping, no adhesives, and no restrictions on the foods you can enjoy.
This modern approach offers exceptional stability, strength, and aesthetics — allowing you to smile, eat, and speak with complete confidence.
Why Choose Full-Arch Implants?
Permanent and secure — No more loose dentures
Natural appearance — Custom-designed to complement your features
Restored function — Enjoy a full, varied diet again
Preserve bone health — Prevents jawbone loss caused by missing teeth
Comfort and confidence — Feel like yourself again, every day
At Kin Dental, we tailor each treatment plan carefully to your needs, ensuring your results feel natural, comfortable, and built to last.
Treatment Options
Depending on your needs, we offer several full-arch implant options:
Full-Arch Implant Bridges
Fixed bridge implants are ideal to replace all teeth. There are a minimum of four to eight implants surgically placed into the jaws. Once healed, replacement teeth are created and attached to the implants with screws. This is commonly known as all-on-four or all-on-X.
Implant-Retained Overdentures
A more economical solution where a removable denture "clicks" securely onto implants for added stability without being permanently fixed. There’s no need to stress about your conventional dentures will slip, slide or feel loose.
Dental Bone Grafting
Strengthen Your Foundation for a Healthier Smile
At Kin Dental, we believe every great smile starts with a strong, healthy foundation.
If you’re considering dental implants or have experienced bone loss from missing teeth, dental bone grafting can play an essential role in rebuilding the support your smile needs — both for today and for the future.
What Is Bone Grafting?
Bone grafting is a specialised procedure that restores and strengthens areas of the jawbone where natural bone has been lost.
It creates a stable, secure foundation for future dental implants, prevents further bone loss, and helps maintain the natural contours of your face and jaw.
We use advanced techniques and carefully selected materials to ensure optimal healing, integration, and comfort throughout your journey.
What bone is used?
There are several bone substitute options available that can be used separately or in combination, each with their own advantages and indications.
Your Own Bone: Also known as ‘autogenous’ bone, this option involves sourcing bone from another area of your mouth and transferring it to where it’s needed. Autogenous bone is often considered the gold standard for grafting; however, it does require an additional surgical site. For this reason, in many cases, we may recommend using a high-quality bone substitute to achieve excellent results with less complexity.
Bone tissue bank (Allografts): Allografts are commonly used in both orthopaedic surgery and dentistry for bone grafting. They are ethically sourced, specially processed, rigorously screened for safety, and provide a highly reliable foundation for healing. Allografts closely mimic your natural bone and contain proteins that help stimulate new bone growth.
Animal Bone substitutes (Xenograft): Multiple Xenografts exist from bovine or porcine origins. Xenografts are highly purified material and specially processed to ensure safety, biocompatibility and offer an effective scaffold to support natural bone regeneration.
Synthetics (Alloplast): This type of bone covers a wide spectrum of materials that with new research offers an effective and reliable alternative to support natural bone regeneration.
Why Might I Need a Bone Graft?
You may benefit from bone grafting if you have:
Bone loss from long-term missing teeth
History of severe tooth infection
Advanced periodontal (gum) disease
Trauma or injury to the jawbone
Insufficient bone volume to support dental implants
Our team will perform a thorough assessment, using precise imaging and clinical examination, to determine the best plan tailored to your needs.
Types of Bone Grafting
Depending on your specific situation, we offer a range of grafting options, including:
Socket Preservation
After tooth extraction to maintain bone
Ridge Augmentation
To rebuild the natural shape of your jaw
Sinus Lifts
To create space for implants in the upper jaw
Minor / Major Bone Grafting
To prepare for implant placement
At Kin Dental, we carefully select the appropriate grafting material — whether it’s your own bone, donor material, or synthetic substitutes — to ensure the best outcome without compromising safety or comfort.
What to Expect
Bone grafting is a well-tolerated procedure typically performed under local anaesthesia, with sedation options available for your comfort.
While healing times vary, most patients find the recovery smooth and manageable with our personalised care plans and follow-up support.
In the months after a bone graft, the bone substitute is replaced with your own natural bone. This complete replacement will vary depending on the type of bone substitute and the amount grafted.
Once healing is complete, you’ll be ready to proceed with your next steps to place your dental implant.
Caring for Your Smile After Bone Grafting
Good oral hygiene and regular dental visits are essential for a smooth recovery and long-term success.
We’ll guide you every step of the way, providing tailored advice to protect your healing graft and optimise your future results.
Sinus Lifts
What Is a Sinus Lift?
A sinus lift, also known as sinus augmentation, is a specialised procedure that adds bone to typically the back of your upper jaw, beneath the sinus cavity. Over time, tooth loss and natural bone resorption can leave this area too thin to support dental implants the ideal size and position. By carefully lifting the sinus membrane and placing bone graft material beneath it, we create a stronger, more stable foundation for future implant placement. Sinus lifts are a routinely performed procedure where the risks of complications are low.
Types of Sinus Lifts
There are two different methods to vertically lift the sinus floor and add bone. The sinus floor can be reshaped using either a crestal (internal) or lateral (external) sinus lift approach.
Crestal (Internal) Sinus Lift
(Add visual cartoon aid) A crestal sinus lift is a minimally invasive technique typically used when only a small amount of additional bone height is needed.
Through the same access point as your planned implant site, we gently elevate the sinus floor and place the bone graft material, often at the same time as placing the implant.
Benefits:
Less invasive
Faster healing
Often combined with implant placement in a single procedure
Lateral (External) Sinus Lift
(Add visual cartoon aid) A lateral sinus lift is used when there is more significant bone loss and greater bone height needs to be restored.
In this technique, a small opening is created on the side of the upper jawbone, allowing us direct access to gently lift the sinus membrane and place the bone graft material. After healing, a solid foundation is ready for implant placement.
Benefits:
Suitable for larger bone deficiencies
Predictable, long-lasting results
Creates ideal support for multiple implants or full arch treatments
What to Expect
Sinus lift procedures are carefully planned using 3D imaging to ensure maximum precision and safety.
Treatment is typically performed under local anaesthesia, with sedation options available for your comfort.
After your procedure, we provide detailed aftercare instructions to support healing and help you return to your normal activities as quickly as possible.
Healing time depends on the extent of grafting needed but typically ranges from a few months for smaller lifts to up to six months for larger grafts.
Caring for Your Smile After a Sinus Lift
Good oral hygiene, avoiding certain activities (like blowing your nose too forcefully), and attending follow-up appointments are key to a smooth recovery and successful graft integration.
Our team will guide you through each step, making sure you feel confident, comfortable, and supported throughout your healing journey.
